轉貼 One Family Folk Music Gala Update
Time flies and I hope this mail finds you well, albeit the threat of H1N1. Coming in 2 months' time, the Folk Music Gala is heating up and I am sharing with you some upbeat news below:
1. 20 teams enrolled, comprising current students (new Folks!), alumni, teachers (hurray!), parents and sons/daughters (thanks to our WYHKPTA and WYKPA)
2. 2 invited girls' teams from our partner schools had agreed to take part
3. Sarah Lee and Michael Leung will either sing/perform a short talk-show just like "Phone-show快活人", the long-lasting popular programme on RTHK2
4. 700 seats only available now – tickets are selling now so act fast. Please click here to reserve your share: http://www.wahyanonefamily.org/doc/folkmusic2009appeal.pdf
5. The Press is chasing the Gala so we expect more demands for tickets soon. See Ming Pao's news on the Gala and the poster attached for ref
Mr Albert Au said this Gala is dedicated to promoting a lucid stream of music again so he is looking forward to freshen up his ears. There is no other event of similar nature in town now. Please disseminate this interesting news and invite your fellow schoolmates and friends to take part and join. ……
Join us to witness the rebirth of Folk Music at Wah Yan! Many thanks.
Best wishes,
Monty
